Opt-In Less is more

WOW is my first impression after reading this arcticle. JF Fullum and the New Balance team worked hard to shape their new line of REVlite shoes into the mold stamped out by the consumer. The idea of elegance in simplicity is spreading through all fields of new products like phones, all types of computers, and even weapons.
After an era of bursting technology and fancy new things, simple things give the product a lighter, more functional, easy to work with kind of product. However, getting there is not easy, and these steps of the PLTW plan would help out in their process:

BRAINSTORMING!!!!- more like a brainicane or a torn-brain-do, an incredible amount of guestimating and crazy proposals went in to creating this marvelous piece of equipment.

Explore Possibilities!-The team would have had to sift through the ocean of ideas and prototypes for creating a new simple lightwieght shoe that could still meet certain requirements expected by the customer.

Communicate Results!- Well, obviously they talked about it because an online arcticle went up. However-starting a new line of ANY type of product is a risk and a big step for any company to make, whether it be Running shoes, or golf clubs. in order for this product to sell successfully, the new design must be publicized.

  1. The exciting language you chose hooked me. Good job communicating the design considerations.
