This ad for a TV is both elegant and intriguing. The reader will be suprised and entertained by these interesting images placed on plain black background. The images give the product a eerie futuristic effect. This ad throws unity and the rest of the design principles out the door, instead creating an amazing, curious looking ad that makes me want to buy a pioneer TV!

The second page of the ad, the one with writing, shows a good deal of simplicity and futuristic design. The ad uses spacing in between lines of small block font for a dramatic look.
This ad shows a great deal of unity, using the same font all the way through the ad, only changing font size and color to emphasize important aspects.
Being in the EDN magazine, geared toward technological and engineering field-type people, the ad has a good deal of raw information on the bottom half of the ad.
This ad is well suited for the audience it is trying to excite in this magazine. In other magazines, the product company may have chosen a different effect.
